UHD won't become big until a few years. I have a feeling they'll be too expensive for the common consumer.

CES is becoming a flop since Microsoft pulled out so I wouldn't go in the future but WWDC will always be Apple's event. Macworld wasn't trashed. Apple just stopped attending. It's a flop now though.

I wasn't really here for Microsoft anyways. Ohh I thought Macworld was canceled. But I mean, no Apple? They might as well cancel it.

CES wasn't really that exciting last year and its extremely overcrowded. Last year basically composed of everyone unveiling their "iPad-killers" along with Microsoft. 90% of them never shipped and if they did, they flopped.

Here's Microsoft's statement. It's kinda sad they did this because their last CES show ever was so boring. All they did was talk about Kinect.
Quote:
SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) — Microsoft Corp. said Wednesday that its presence at next month’s Consumer Electronics Show will be its last, following a decade of high-profile showings at the annual Las Vegas digital extravaganza.
Microsoft (US:MSFT) has previously marked its presence at the show with appearances by co-founder Bill Gates and current Chief Executive Steve Ballmer typically holding the opening keynote address. Ballmer is slated to open the show on the evening of Jan. 9.
In a post on its corporate blog ,Microsoft said its changing business, which now includes video game consoles and mobile phone software, as well as its traditional Windows and Office products, has forced it to reassess how it announces new products.
“We’ll continue to participate in CES as a great place to connect with partners and customers across the PC, phone and entertainment industries, but we won’t have a keynote or booth after this year because our product news milestones generally don’t align with the show’s January timing,” spokesman Frank Shaw wrote in the post.
The move follows a similar action by Apple Inc. (US:AAPL), which pulled out of the Macworld Expo in 2009, saying the company could launch is products through its own events more effectively. Apple doesn’t showcase its products at CES, nor does Amazon.com (US:AMZN), which has a growing line of e-readers as well as a tablet called the Kindle Fire.
