The End of Raven-Symoné "Career"
Her album has sold 6000 copies to date. That's about 500 copies less than what Kevin federline had sold with his debut album.
- Her only fansite has closed today:
Raven Symone just lost one of her most loyal fans. Raven's most popular un-official fan site Raven-symone.org has just been shut down. And it's not just any old fan site. According to its owner, the site drew in tens of thousands of viewers monthly - and was one THE most popular Raven site on the web (even more visited than her OFFICIAL site).

The time has come for me to personally close the site. We were at the top of our game and I cannot be more happy with the way the site had gone. The members were all so loyal.
However I made the decision to close the site based on this past year. This was supposed to be the best year for Raven professionally and she wasted it!
The movie did great, she promoted I couldn't have been happier, I got to meet her and even though she was very standoffish it completed my goal of wanting to meet her.
The whole album deal just infuriates me! She had a great album and she refused to do anything with it. She ended up selling only 4,400 copies!!!! That is a huge flop.
She did zero promotion and didn't acknowledge it on her OWN official website which showed little to no care for this album which is sad.
What just did it for me was her management team, we were told we would get an interview for the website 4 months ago... then it comes time for it and they decide we don't need it. Cause raven is so busy right? All the promotion we did online for years was nothing but free promotion for them. I am done supporting someone who just doesn't care about her projects.
I wish all the fans well and as for me, I have finally moved on...

LOL yea I read about this.
But it's true. Raven shows no instrest in her music. Its a shame cause it was a really great and active fansite.

A little false info in the main post, this is 100% NOT her only fansite idiot. She has very many fansites that all report over 1-2,000 hits every 2 weeks, or less. She get's alot of visits to her fansites, and there are more opening with the closing of this one. Please, no fans have dumped her besides this trick. As I've said:
the site owner is not so smart. I never have liked him, and for him to close a website and make that big deal out of nothing, and ruin some of Ravens reputation, not to mention closing the #1 website for fans and non-fans alike, he's pretty damn stupid. And several people said they would take over and pay for it, but he didn't give it to them. He obviously wanted attention, he got it, let's move on. There will be a new #1 site. ALL her sites get a hell of a lot of hits.

Her "fansites" get 2000 visits per week yet her album sold only 3 copies. Sounds pretty accurate.

Yea it is. This site alone (as you can see) got tens of thousands of views of month...You can see that number on Mediatakeout.com...And it's sold more near 10,000 copies than three.  But hey, if it can keep selling on her name, and she is still touring then im kinda good.

She will reach that much in the year 2030. But she might be eligible for a plastic certification at that time.
