12 years ago when they collaborated on Lady Marmalade it seemed like Xtina was a bigger star than P!nk. But now P!nk followed her multiplatinum Funhouse with a very successful GH and her latest album will sell at least 5 million. Xtina followed her underperforming GH with the infamous Bionic which sold less than 1 million worldwide and with Lotus which sold less than 500 thousand worldwide. Why is P!nk now bigger than Xtina?

Because her music is better than Christina's.

Pink is bigger than all of her contemporaries now though.

While that's obviously true it's hardly a valid reason looking at the charts
I think the GP got tired of XTina after her GH album which is a shame cause I'd take her over most of the pop girls these days.At least she has talent

I love P!nk too but let's not pretend as if FH and TTAL are more interesting than Bionic & Lotus.

Xtina simply has made some bad choices in her career.

More consistent releases, more consistent music, more consistent promo, more consistent image.

Because she promotes better and appeals to more people.

Because everyone is bigger than flop

Her music is more appealing and she's taken much better care of her career. P!nk is one of the most consistent artists we have today. We should applaud the fact that she's still having huge tours and great album sales at this stage of her career.

Because radio favors P!nk and spins her music competitively. It's as simple as that. P!nk would be in the same position as Christina if her lead singles received limited airplay.

P!nk is taking care of her career, that's all, it's not about talent, they both do have talent

Also, to add to what I posted earlier - Musically and image-wise, P!nk isn't taking as many risks as Christina. P!nk has settled into a rudimentary formula of making the same type of music and she doesn't stray from her "rock" image, whereas Christina is a wild card.

Because she's a radio artist. Her songs are generic, radio friendly songs. Xtina's mostly aren't

Pink's makes better music tbh and actually promotes unlike X.

The "promoting argument" is so misunderstood. If radio didn't support P!nk's singles, the amount of promotion and tie-in deals would be significantly reduced. One feeds the other.
