Anyway, here are my predictions:
East:
1. New York Rangers Vs. 8. Ottawa Senators
Rangers in 5. I don't think the Sens will put up much of a challenge for the best team in the East.
2. Boston Bruins Vs. 7. Washington Capitals
Caps in 7. The Caps are hungry and the Bruins have not been playing their best hockey of late.
3. Florida Panthers Vs. 6. New Jersey Devils
Devils in 6. How the Panthers won the division is beyond me.
4. Pittsburgh Penguins Vs. 5. Philadelphia Flyers
Pens in 4. Bold prediction I know, but Crosby is on fire. I'm shocked at how well he's been playing right off the bat from coming back. Either way, these are gonna be some GOOD games.
West:
1. Vancouver Canucks Vs. 8. L.A. Kings
Canucks in 6. I don't think the Kings are good enough to beat the Canucks. Quick will steal them a couple of games though.
2. St. Louis Blues Vs. 7. San Jose Sharks
Blues in 4. The Blues are the team to beat this year. They have such a great all-around team. And the Sharks suck.
3. Phoenix Coyotes Vs. 6. Chicago Blackhawks.
Coyotes in 7. With the goaltending the Coyotes have been getting, they could steal this series.
4. Nashville Predators Vs. Detroit Red Wings
Preds in 7. This could go either way, I have a feeling it's gonna come down to a double OT game 7 to settle this.
