What's your major? Which semester? Are you happy with the choice? Share your experiences!

I'm doing industrial engineering and management. So basically mechanical engineering + business adm. nerd alert
6th semester for my BA. And i absolutely love it because of the diversity. But it's really hard and time consuming. I basically have 4-5 weeks of freedom per year. But oh well.

I really wanted to do industrial engineering but decided to do economics instead.

I'm currently on summer holidays I'm waiting till the end of sep to go back to uni for my 2nd year in travel and tourism management

i really want to do it but it's also scary. all i know is that i hate what i'm doing now and i don't want to do it for the rest of my life.

I haven't had experience with switching uni. But don't be afraid of it. I, for myself didn't do it but i know tons of people who did. They are so much happier now that they switched their majors/uni and do what they really like. So don't be afraid. Do it now, otherwise you will regret not doing it some day. Also if you hate what you are doing at the moment, it's really not worth investing time and energy into it. Use it for something you love.

What are you scared of? That you might not get in with it - or that you wasted your time if the new major isn't really your thing either. Speculations !also universities are places where you can meet/find new people easily if that is one of your fears as well.
