I mean, it's obviously doing good WW and mostly on Spotify where it is huge. But I don't know if it's just me (even though Work is smashing in my country), it just doesn't feel as huge as most of her singles.

Music as of late does not feel much like an event anymore. There's not a lot of OOMPH in the songs, the industry, and the faces of it in all honesty.

People are waiting around for the next Adele, the next big IT artist, and in the meantime, they bop to quick, fun, easy-bake oven songs like "Work".

I don't know, it just doesn't feel as huge as her previous lead singles, I did not mean to shade it in any way, I know it's a success.

I feel that. I'm glad its a hit but it doesn't feel like one yet. I'm sure it'll get overplayed on radio soon here though.
