The right to free speech. The right to open expression. The right to access, and experience. We live in a world where basic freedoms are being deleted. As artists and engineers; as human beings, we have a choice. An obligation to stand against persecution. An obligation to stand up for openness.

Press Release
The artist’s “secretprojectrevolution” 17-minute film, co-directed with Steven Klein, will be available free to registered users on Sept. 24 as a Bit******* Bundle, which includes bonus content. The pic represents the launch of Madonna’s Art For Freedom, an online initiative to further freedom of expression, curated by Vice Media.
“My goal is to show by the example of ‘secretprojectrevolution’ my creative commitment to inspire change in the world through artistic expression,” Madonna said in a statement. “I hope my film and other submissions to Art For Freedom will be a call-to-action and give people a place to voice their own creative expression to help fight oppression, intolerance and complacency.”
The “secretprojectrevolution” bundle includes stills from the film and three HD film trailers. Users who submit their email will unlock access to the film in both HD and 2K Digital Cinema resolution, as well as an exclusive HD and 2K Digital Cinema interview with Madonna conducted by Vice chief creative officer Eddy Moretti. The interview with Madonna also will be available on Vice’s The Creators Project on Sept. 24.
Madonna’s Art For Freedom is described as an “online public art project” encouraging video, music, poetry and photography submissions to promote the spirit of free speech around the world. Public submissions will become part of the Art For Freedom platform; contributors can upload original artwork or tag original posts #artforfreedom.
“Bit******* and Vice are both innovative and forward-thinking, which is why we chose to partner with them on the launch of ‘Art for Freedom’ platform and the film ‘secretprojectrevolution,’” said Guy Oseary, Madonna’s longtime manager.
The “secretprojectrevolution” film examines the business of private prisons and “questions what we do, how we do it and how we treat others,” according to Klein. “It questions our governments, and our collective thought patterns.”
Art For Freedom, curated by VICE, is a public art project designed to address global intolerance; asking the world to submit personal freedoms and protest in the form of video, music, poetry, and photography. Join the project by uploading original artwork or tagging posts #artforfreedom.
Bit******* was founded as a free speech tool. And Bit******* Bundle, our publishing Alpha, is designed to enable Internet expression: putting the power to create and distribute content back into the hands of artists.
So, the revolution begins here. We’re releasing secretprojectrevolution as a full film download to the people of the Internet. The Bit******* Bundle will include HD and 2K copies of the film, plus bonus content: an exclusive interview with Madonna, conducted by VICE’s Eddy Moretti, a message from Madonna, and trailers and stills from the shoot. If you’re interested in releasing your own work via Bit*******, you can sign up to try our alpha publishing program, live next week.
On September 24th, the Bit******* Bundle will be available to all. Join the revolution.

To me it seems like a mixture of American Life political stance, and the Erotica/MDNA attitude.
I think the people who can understand what Madonna has always been about past and present will be able to get what she's trying to portray in this project.
If it's well presented and directed this could go viral. But it would have to be extremely controversial and well... she's Madonna. I want to be shocked.
