ATRL's Holy Trinity: Resurgence ◬ CONGRATULATE THE WINNERS!
Introduction
Welcome back to the fourth season of ATRL's Holy Trinity! This game was created by collin a couple years but last season I picked it up and started hosting it. You will not play any other game like this on ATRL. Holy Trinity combines strategy and social play with the fun creation of your entries.
Last season, I had some twists planned but they were mostly overridden. This season, there will be more twists and turns than ever. This season is guaranteed to be more crazy and eventful. I'm incredibly excited to start!
How To Play
Every round, I'll post a challenge. They are built upon a general theme for the contestant to follow. Based on these challenges, each contestant must create a trinity – three songs that work together to represent the challenge. These interpretations should be creative, but not over our heads. All entries will be posted in the thread (not in quotes if it matters for your formatting).
The judges will listen to and read your entries, give short comments and then rank your entries from best to worst. The three contestants with the highest rankings make up the Golden Trinity, and the three contestants with the lowest rankings make up the Flop Trinity. The Golden Trinity then decides which contestants in the Flop Trinity to eliminate permanently from the game. A contestant can go from being in the Golden Trinity one round to being in the Flop Trinity immediately afterwards; consistently staying out of the Flop Trinity is vital.

Working to the end of the game, the final 5 players will participate in a massive finale to decide their final ranks, and the top 3 contestants overall will combine and join forces in ATRL's Holy Trinity. The road to success, however, isn't always that simple. Do you have what it takes to be a part of ATRL's Holy Trinity?
New Additions
As I said before, there are a lot of new things this season. First off, you may have I noticed I changed some graphics! They may not be as nice as before (just tbh!) but last season I didn't make a single graphic myself and just plagiarized all of them from collin. I already plagiarized this whole game's concept from him so I figure it's one less thing to steal.
One of the biggest new additions this season is the Banned Artists list. After any singer/band/artist is used three times, they're banned from use again. If an artist is used more than three times in one round, no one will be penalized but the artist will still be banned. If you submit an entry to me featuring a song by a banned artist, I will send you back a PM telling you and your entry won't be accepted until there are no banned artists in your entry. The Banned Artist list will always be in the OP and the challenge post so you can easily find it!
Another semi-new addition is planet powers, this season's version of the powers from last season that were named after stones. Rather than reveal powers later, I'm going to reveal them all now. There are a lot more powers than before.

Mercury Power - Within twenty-four hours of the challenge being announced, you can send me a contestant’s name and a song you would like to sabotage them with. They have to use that song in their entry.
Venus Power - Before the deadline for submitting entries passes, you can give yourself or someone else immunity from elimination as long as they placed in the Golden Trinity the round before. However, that immunity only works if you don’t place last.
Earth Power - Before the deadline for submitting entries passes, I must be informed you are using this power. When the Golden Trinity makes a decision, you can choose to veto it and make them pick someone else.
Mars Power - Before the deadline for submitting entries passes, I must be informed you are using this power. With this power, you can switch three consecutively ranked contestants with the three consecutively ranked contestants either below or above them in a judge’s rankings.
Jupiter Power - Before the deadline for submitting entries passes, I must be informed you are using this power. With this power, you join the Golden or Flop Trinity if you are within two spots of them. If you are within two spots of both, you tie with whichever one’s closer, and if you’re an equal distance you tie with the Golden Trinity. This doesn’t change your score for the round and no one is kicked out of whichever Trinity you join.
Saturn Power - Within twenty-four hours of the challenge being announced, I must be informed you are using this power. With this power, you can reset the Banned Artist list.
Uranus Power - Before the deadline for submitting entries passes, I must be informed you are using this power. With this power, you can automatically put whoever’s at the bottom of the whole game’s leaderboard in the Flop Trinity.
Neptune Power - Before the deadline for submitting entries passes, I must be informed you are using this power. With this power, you can automatically put any player including yourself one spot below wherever the player with the highest game average places.
The collapse tag above has a list of powers you can obtain. All the powers can be obtained if you make the right post. For instance, the Uranus Power might be linked with Post #666, so if you post at Post #666, you will get the Uranus Power and you can use it any time before the finale. You'll receive a secret PM from me letting you know you got the power. If a non-contestant makes a post that would get them a power, the next contestant to post gets the power instead.
The last new addition is Shooting Stars / Black Holes. These are the twists. randomly distributed through rounds (there's a 2/7 chance per round the each one will happen, and they can happen at the same time). They're the least complicated part of all of this. Shooting Stars grant a wish and make the Golden Trinity one spot bigger. Black Holes suck everyone down and make the Flop Trinity one spot bigger. That's all there is to those!
I'm hoping that these twists should cover the whole game, meaning I wouldn't need to make any extra twists. If I find that all this still isn't making things exciting or powers aren't being used, I have more twists I can pull out of my ass.
I know this is all a lot of information to take in at once. Trust that you'll learn the ropes as you go own! Use this advice to help you make important decisions in the game.

When you're in the Golden Trinity, you can eliminate anyone you want in the Flop Trinity, and in some cases beyond just that. Develop stratagem and create allies. Remember your fellow contestants are the ones ultimately deciding who gets eliminated every round.
