I agree we shouldn't abuse animals, I dont agree with the measures they go to try to force it down people's throats.

PETA is terrible and gives a bad name to everyone who shares their cause.

PETA has always been really stupid about this kind of stuff.

When that man got beheaded on the Greyhound bus, they said that the same thing happens to chickens every day, so why aren't people mourning the chickens

I understand their cause, and I think it's noble.

However, their PR movement sucks a big dick, and their higher-ups are rather corrupt. It's not a pretty company once you dig a little bit.

PETA has a honorable cause, but they are extremely aggressive.

How do they not do a good job of pushing their cause? They're probably the most well-known animal rights organization, and arguably one of the most well-known and talked about nonprofit organizations.

They make headlines. Y'all know PETA. People would care about animal rights far less without them.

I mean it's not like Watergate scandals or anything, but their execs have been exposed of some animal cruelty, overzealous euthanasia, etc.

It's not that great to look into, plus both sides of animal rights have their share of bias

PETA used to be a rational organization, but the extremist part took over.

I'm a vegetarian, and I think everyone else should be one too. But I wouldn't go to the lengths they do to raise awareness. All they're doing is turning people off vegetarianism.
