No, I just feel like people don't hold her and Mariah to their rightful regalness, simply because they're competing with these little girls. The same with Usher and Alicia.

She deserves respect, she is music's biggest female legend.
However she comes off as bitchy and disrespectful. And yes of course she has the right to be proud of her accomplishments, but that doesn't mean you have to act a certain way, in which she does.

No, it's because of what was mentioned in the OP. You know, the topic we're discussing.

The problem is this: Madonna isn't an underdog. She doesn't strive to make everyone feel good about themselves. If you have a problem her solution is "work hard and fix it" - Too many people today follow the whole "I'm fine just how I am" because that's what they're taught and that's what a lot of pop stars preach.

So, they get upset when they see someone excel the old fashion way. They want to see her fall because they want so badly to be able to achieve great things with their mediocracy. It's embarrassing tbqfh - Whenever Madonna works on a project she tops every list released year in and year out even after some people whinge and moan and say she can't do it any longer.
