Discussion: Will you go to hell for fornication? (sex before marriage)

Some people say that suicide is an unforgivable sin because the person does not have time to repent of self murder, but not everyone who commits suicide dies instantly.
Outside of the references mentioned above, there are no big sins or little sins. Sin is sin, but various sins carry various consequences. Consequences of sexual sin may be STD, unwanted pregnancy, the break up of a marriage, etc. Consequences of stealing could be jail time, a criminal record, fines, etc.

Definitely agree. But don't repent if you're just going to do it again Makes it pointless.

Thats what I'm saying. It's kind of unfair though, most people aren't educated on things related to the bible, so going to hell for eternity is kind of extreme.

True but I think it's human nature to want to be sexually active. However it still doesn't make it right. I know lots people who have that problem especially guys.Who have testosterone makes it harder. Its like they become prisoners of their own hormones. However you shouldn't yourself in those type of situations. So you're right, ti just not as easy for others as it is for some.

IF the bible is true and what is stated, there is only one or two people in Heaven right now.

It's funny because this lady came through my work's drive-thru and gave us a church brochure on a comic about how a man did a "few" sins/mistakes in life, yet told God he lived a pretty damn good life overall and God casted him into Hell for those "few" sins even though he lived 95% of a good life.

It's also funny because one of my co-workers was like this brochure is basically saying we are all going to Hell, because the man in the comic asked for forgiveness but God didn't care and casted him into Hell for looking at another woman in a lusting way.

I told my co-worker, Religion is bogus, well the bible is, because to live a "perfect" life like it says, you have to live in a cave and stare at a wall. Pretty much he agreed. I read on the internet that the bible was actually referring to a certain group of people and that the bible doesn't necessarily mean it's for us all. Like if you want to become a priest or something, you have to obey by these rules?

I have a question for God. Why create mankind if you can't live up to your own mistakes, because God created this world. I believe in God, but I don't believe in the bible, end of story.

IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO LIVE A PERFECT LIFE WITHOUT SIN. NOT EVEN THOSE CHURCH GO'ERS WHO HAND OUT THOSE BROCHURES TO RANDOM PEOPLE, THEY HAVE THEIR SINS AND FLAWS.
