Greetings everyone, it recently dawned upon me that the amazing, and daringest () duo Karmin do not have a base. Seeing there's more than one Karmin stan on here, I was surprised and then decided to make my first base, so us stans can talk. This base will probably be a little empty at first but I will keep working on it overtime.
Anyways about the group...
from wikipedia nn
Karmin is an American pop duo consisting of Amy Renee Heidemann (born April 29, 1986) and Nicholas Louis "Nick" Noonan (born April 27, 1986). They are best known for their song "Brokenhearted," which reached the top 20 in the United States, and the top 10 in New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom, and the song "Hello", which reached number one on the Dance Billboard Chart in the US.
The two met while attending Berklee College of Music in Boston, from which they graduated in 2008. They formed Karmin in January 2010 and released their very first EP, Inside Out, in May of that year. Some months later, they got engaged. They released a second EP titled The Winslow Sessions in February 2011, and that's around the time they started getting relevant. After doing several covers of songs like Chris Brown's "Look At Me Now", Nicki Minaj's "Super Bass' and "6 Foot 7 Foot", They appeared on Ellen and at the BET Awards, and even had their song, "Take It Away" featured in the NBA Finalists promo. Before all of this (I think) they signed with Epic Records.
They released their buzz single, titled Crash Your Party in December 2011, and while successfully gaining buzz, it flopped and wasn't featured on their new EP. They continued with the smash hit, Brokenhearted, that managed to crack the top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 and go platinum, as well as go top 10 in other countries. They released their official EP (or first after getting signed) Hello in 2012 and released the title track as the next single. It had mixed success and while going #1 on the Hot Dance Club Songs chart, it didn't even go top 50 on the Billboard Hot 100. Meanawhile, the EP sold 19,000 copies.
They released their first single off of their debut album Pulses, titled Acapella in June of 2013 and while it didn't do great in the US, it gave them their first top 5 hit in Australia. The second buzz single () I Want It All was released in January of 2014 and didn't do anything..at all. They collaborated with the duo Breathe Carolina recently, and Pulses came out March 25th, 2014.
They are currently embarking on their second tour in the US, or second leg of the first tour, whatever works
But in all seriousness I actually like Karmin a bit, Amy's a great vocalist... I still haven't really listened to their EP much (oops), but "Brokenhearted" slayed me for a while, and their newest single "Acapella" is nice, also.

Everything they do is flawless. They are so extremely underrated and talented. Amy can slay with vocals and her extremely fast raps while Nick can produce and play several instruments. I'm so mad that Epic is delaying their flawless album.. I mean, have you guys heard some of the stuff that will be on it? I'm also annoyed that they're announcing their tour before the release date.. gorls.
