I can't with the vast majority of LGBT* people in entertainment either writing off their sexualities and identities as no big deal (when the community NEEDS visibility) or saying **** like this in order to separate and distance themselves from it.

There's nothing wrong with that, I think people are more accepting to people like them because they seem extremely stable and balanced and that makes gays more accepting to everyone else.
