Music Video:
Despite the music video's simplicity in comparison to Lady Gaga's previous videography, it was still a hit with many critics, with Sal Cinquemani from 'Slant Magazine' calling it a "visual triumph," with "breathtaking" art direction, and a "gray-blue-black color palette carefully calibrated by Gaga's vibrant lipstick and nail polish, a red painted stripe on the curb, and the gold of her jewelry and the studs on her leather, not to mention Clarence Clemons's brass."
Live Performances:
Along with the amazing song comes amazing live performances. The song produced arguably some of the best performances from the entire 'Born This Way' era, including this amazing performance:
I posted this because it's already May 9th 2012 in the UK
I so loved this song when it just came out and I still do. And it was such a shame that it really was handled so poorly. It deserved a big breathtaking adrenaline pumping music video and performances on better watched shows. It should've sold at least 4 million in my opinion. Should've been the second single instead of "Judas." It was a success but it could've reached sooo much further...
