Mods please keep this thread open! It's not necessarily flamebait, I love Taylor and went to the 1989 tour, I'm just posting my criticism of the Apple Music special.

I'm just 8 minutes into the Apple Music special and WTF is this? Her vocals are TRAGIC, the editing is so amateur

Why didn't they edit her voice better, why couldn't they hire a decent editor... the entire thing looks fanmade

I enjoyed going to the actual tour, but this Apple Music special is a MESS

On some performances like New Romantics, the volume of her microphone is so low, you can barely hear her

They couldn't even name her songs correctly in the credits

EDIT: I'm watching Out of The Woods and she sounds AMAZING.
but yes her moves are dramatic but that's just Taylor being Taylor of course.

Maybe Taylor's voice is just not good enough live.

She is not a good performer at all.

Will it be released on DVD? If it's as tragic as you say, I hope it's just an Apple Music special

I forgot to mention that you can barely hear her singing, the volume of her vocals is so low

I'm at Blank Space and so far it's really tragic... The intro was cute. Then she opened with Welcome To New York, tragic.
New Romantics, the smash that got away was ok and Blank Space is meh.

They probably tried to filter out the screaming girls, then realised that filtering that would take out Taylor's voice as well

Yeah it was shot and edited very tragic

I was so excited for this and it turned out to be a huge disappointment

It is sad that you actually expected Taylor to serve good vocals. Crappy cameras and crappy video recordings help a lot in hiding bad vocals, but direct recordings don't lie.
