John Mayer earns first UK top 10 album
King Mayer reaches the Top 10 of the UK Album Chart with the #4 debut of his new album "Born And Raised" a huge improvement over his previous entries.

No promo, just an ad on iTunes (not that digital sales of albums count for much). But sales are really low right now so he's taken advantage if that. I guess he's just earned himself a strong enough fan base over time.

no promo even in the U.S. he is set to open with more than 200k and he barely did any promo.
