10. Common featuring The Last Poets - The Corner
- Didn't really like this song at first. But later in the year, it grew on me and now it's top 10. 6 months ago this probably wouldnt even be top 50



09. John Cena featuring Tha Trademarc and Bumpy Knuckles - Bad, Bad Man
- I expected to hate it, but SOMEHOW it grew on me too much and now is 9. Shocking that Cena can have a song that actually hit my top 10.

8. Kanye West - Diamonds
- The first Kanye song I actually liked. Kanye's best song imo. It's got a nice message to it, and the sample fits the song.




7. Tony Yayo featuring 50 Cent - So Seductive
- First song on this list I expect most people to hate. Most Yayo songs aren't good, but this one just stands out. Even if the video isnt good, Yayo and 50 did a good one on this song. Used to be top 5 but fell out a month ago.



6. Ludacris - Number One Spot
- This brings bak memories from February. The 1st Luda song I saw as f***in awesome. It got to 2 on my most played list, but has fallin off. Luda needs more songs like this. Used to be 3, but fell out of top 5 about last week.

5. Juelz Santana featuring Cam'ron - Murda Murda
- MURDA MURDA MUH MURDA MURDA MUH MURDA SHIIIIIIIIT. The 5 seconds of that line got me to LOVE this song. I just kept playin it and playin it. Shocking to see a Juelz song in my top 5

4. Fort Minor - In Stereo
- When I previewed The Rising Tied on The Leak, I really didnt get the right impression on some songs. When I got the cd, I 1st listened to In Stereo, and Ive played it 60 times this week. Kinda sounds like it could be a club banger. Nothing on The Rising Tied can come close to this song.

"In Stereo" is one of the highlights of the album....good countdown sp far.

3. 50 Cent featuring Olivia - Candy Shop
- After I thought I wouldn't see a good 50 Cent song again, Candy Shop came. This song has been 50's best ever since TRL world premiered it. It's got a cool beat and lyrics that could never leave my head. "I'll take you to the candy shop. I'll let you like the lolliepop" Too bad 50 doesn't have another song like this.

- DEFINATELY one of Em's best. I have played this song in 1 day more than any other song I've played in 1 day. The video for WIG is PERFECT. The beat is amazing, ESPECIALLY to these lyrics

1. The Game - Dreams
- Not a single rap song released this year can compete with Dreams. After hearing HIOLI, I thought Game couldnt have a better song. Then I heard this on TRL. I couldnt believe it. Game had one of THE best songs I had ever heard. Right then, I knew that this would be my #1 for the year, and nothing has been able to pass it. I like the message of this song (if I got the message right). With the sample in this song, Dreams is PERFECT. Only 1 other rap song of all time can compete with Dreams (and you should all know it ) Dreams, definately best rap song of this year.




Well that was my top 10 rap of this year. I will do rock, videos, and songs of the year later.

Man, you did nail #1 on the head. #2 is good, but #1 was without a doubt the best hip hop song of 2005.
