t’s been a close race, but One Direction didn’t let anybody drag them down – they finished out in front of Justin Bieber to score their fourth Number 1 album with Made In The A.M.
Made In The A.M.’s first-week chart sales of 93,189 make it the fastest selling album of 2015, beating the record previously held by Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds’ Chasing Yesterday.
Justin Bieber has to settle for the runner-up spot, but it’s not all bad news. Biebs gets the second highest first-week figures of 2015, with fourth studio album Purpose scoring just over 90,000 combined chart sales.
