One of the most iconic pop-culture dresses of the past decade took its place at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on Thursday morning.
Lady Gaga's meat dress from the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards has literally taken center stage at the museum's "Right Here, Right Now" exhibit
The dress became part of the Rock Hall's "Women Who Rock: Vision, Passion, Power" touring exhibit. It will now remain in the Rock Hall through the end of the year.
"We're really excited to be able to show it," says Meredith Rutledge-Borger, associate curator for the Rock Hall. "When Gaga wore it, it created a huge controversy. It was all anybody was talking about."It's also home to one of Gaga's other iconic constumes – her metal outfit from the "Bad Romance" video.
