The ridiculous overreactions some people have to a slightly racist comment just makes more people racist, and so on. It is the same with homophobia.

racism will never die and i disagree with morgan freeman, there's nothing wrong with black history month. If there's a problem with blacks having their own month. Then let's get rid of hispanic heritage month etc... And if we want to help end racism, how about we have more diversity in the media like predominatly minority shows and movies.

I ignored the racism all four years of high school. It wasn't until I finally said something that the jokes stopped.

We can't. As long as there is (1) ignorance and (2) peer pressure, there will be racism, or discrimination of some sort.
