Jennifer Lawrence
ACHIEVEMENTS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS
-The youngest person ever to be nominated for two Academy Awards for Best Actress
-The second-youngest Best Actress winner in Academy Awards history
-The only person born in the 90's to win an Oscar
-The highest-grossing action heroine of all time
PRAISES AND ACCLAIMS
Roling Stone:"The most talented young actress in America."
Time: "One of the 100 most influential people in the world."
ELLE: "2013's Most powerful woman in the entertainment business"
How is it that she can just stand there, not saying a word, and make us feel so much? Her talent is undeniable, and she is a force to be reckoned with. - Charlize Theron
Jennifer Lawrence is a complete genius - Emma Stone
I’ve done two photo shoots with Jennifer Lawrence over the years and have found her to be utterly charming and a great talent. - Jessica Chastain
She’s a diamond. She’s very hard working. And, at the same time, a girl who likes to have fun. She’s grounded. I think I can class her as a good friend now. - Sam Claflin
I’m totally in love with Jennifer Lawrence. She’s a prodigy. She’s 22, it’s insane. - Marion Cotillard
She’s very comfortable in her own skin and has such a presence about her. Her acting is effortless and she always makes it look easy. - David O. Russell
She’s a class act. She is literally one of the funniest girls I’ve ever met, that girl is, she’s very talented but a terrific, terrific person. - Hugh Jackman
Her performances are intelligent and logical through what seems to be a natural intuition - she’s both aloof and intelligent. - Michael Fassbender
She's unlike, really, anybody I worked with, she's 22 years old, she could be 45 years old, she's so effortless, and her beauty and her talent, I love being around her, she makes everyboby better, I love her. If I could do every movie with her... she's incredible. And that's why I think THG is so successful, because people have discovered just how... forget that she's a great actor but she has a presence that's just infectious. She is incredible. I’ve been so lucky to do two movies with her back-to-back. She’s the best. I feel like I got in on the ground floor. I’ll be lucky if I work with her again. - Bradley Cooper
If I couldn’t make the movie with Jennifer, I didn’t want to make it. You only see that kind of talent once in a generation — that kind of intensity and emotional power. If you don’t find the right performer, you don’t have the movie. So I felt like, ‘Now I can make the movie.’ - Gary Ross
I’d love to work with Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Stone because they are fantastic - Saoirse Ronan
Jennifer is extraordinary. She’s one of the few people her age who has that sort of maturity without being cynical. - Stanley Tucci
She takes herself and her profession as seriously as she needs too, but she has a sense of perspective in her life. Yes, she’s young, but she’s a woman. You know how some actors are still girls or boys? Well, she’s very much a woman, and a very strong one at that. - James McAvoy
I think she’s wonderful. I voted for her for the Oscar. I’d love to play her grandfather or something. -Michael Caine
The good news is that Jen, her good-humored, ballsy, free-spirited alter ego with the husky voice and a propensity for junk food … Jen, the spritely tomboy from Kentucky — that Jen’s got it together. A hoot. A gem. A gem with a killer stare. - Jodie Foster

I'm willing to perch here if other stans do too. Hopefully this base doesn't fall into obscurity within a couple of days.

A MUST READ: http://www.smh.com.au/entertainment/...114-2xhkc.html
snipped:
In past interviews, Lawrence has attributed her spontaneity in front of the camera to something else entirely: laziness. She likes to play up the fact that she's never had an acting lesson or that she doesn't even memorise her lines until the night before - confessions some actors might find ill-considered. But the thought that these remarks might come across as unprofessional or, worse, that people might think that she doesn't take acting seriously enough, doesn't faze her.
legendary thespian!
never had formal acting lessons or workshops. effortless! such a natural!
another:
Francis Lawrence, the director of Catching Fire, speaks of her abilities as an actor with such conviction that it's as if the pair have been working together for years.
"She works unlike anybody I have ever seen before," he says. "She's very instinctual, she works straight from the gut. She doesn't have to stay in character all day, she doesn't have to talk about it endlessly - she just does it."
Wow! she's like a switch! who can turn on her character when filming and off after.
The Girl on Fire is the Golden Girl of Hollywood!

Same. Mockingjay Part 2 is coming for Avenger's wig though
Tiffany, you should update the OP with the list of movies she's been in. I've seen just about all of them.

Yes, pretty nice for one month of working.
But they payed her later a bonus and this was certainly much more than the 500k

Let the Games begin
Box Office: 'Hunger Games: Catching Fire' Claims Victory in Brazil
Quote:
Lionsgate's The Hunger Games: Catching Fire has begun its global assault, opening in Brazil on Friday to an eye-popping $2.4 million.
That's nearly triple the gross of the first film.
Catching Fire is opening in Brazil a week ahead of its launch in North America and 65 foreign markets, including China. Domestically, many believe the sequel could approach $165 million-plus in its debut.
Directed by Francis Lawrence and based on Suzanne Collins' blockbuster YA book series, the sequel returns Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth in the title roles.
Catching Fire unfolds as Katniss Everdeen (Lawrence) returns home after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark (Hutcherson). Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a victor's tour of the districts, where rebellions are on the verge of breaking out.
