So are urban stations not playing Telephone AT ALL?

If they are going to play it it will take a while for it to crossover, first to Rhythmic then to Urban.

Although I don't think it will get much play, I mean it's straight up pop. At most it will get similar urban play to Sweet Dreams but that was only about 100 spins.

The Beyonce feature will help it on rhythmic though, normally GaGa songs are only added by about 1/2-3/4 of the panel on Rhytmic so they can never really go for the top but hopefully Beyonce will make Telephone more Rhytmic friendly for the stations that refuse to play GaGa

So Naturally will be #33 for today's official update and sometime next week it will be going Top 30!

Rhythmic plays pop, R&B, hip-hop, and some pop-rock occasionally. Urban plays pure R&B and hip-hop.

Urban = hip-hop
Rhythmic = r&b/lite hip-hop/urban pop

Some songs crossover on both, as you can see, but some are just too urban for rhythmic and some are too rhythmic for urban. OTTNO won't probably do as well on rhythmic as it's going to on Urban for example. And Bad Romance is WAY to poppy for urban to play, but just enough rhythmicy for rhythmic to play. Same goes to TiK ToK.

wow!! i just realized my local pop station (kiss fm dallas) is playing bulletproof by laroux!! 18 spins so far this week! and same goes fro kiis (LA) 3 spins so far!!

I checked out some of the songs down around the 80-120 range. Some really good songs down there! Hope some become hits. My favorite is Vita Chambers "Young Money." This could be a big hit.

Looks like Tik-Tok will be there in a while. Or Bad Romance can snatch its wig.

BR has already been #1, and it's falling faster than "TiK ToK." "Telephone," "Imma Be," "BedRock," and "Blah Blah Blah" are coming up fast.

^ Today Bad Romance had a +15 while Tik Tok had a -66. I know it fell faster the previous two days but overall it's still gaining on Tik Tok.

Although, if it wants a chance at #1 again then it needs to be more consistent with the gains on TT and not have losses like yesterday.

I know that it has been #1, but there is still a chance that it can fall slower than TikTok (Farfecth but plausible)

I think its safe to say that TikTok can secure another week or two.
