Adele's 21 has overtaken Amy Winehouse's Back To Black to be crowned the UK's biggest-selling album of this Century, Music Week can reveal.
According to Official Chart Company figures, the LP this evening remains in the Top 10 for the 45th week in a row - its entire chart career.
Helped by the singer's six Grammy nominations, the album jumps from 9-5 tonight, with sales improving by 47.90% to 61,274 - that's its highest weekly sale since it was number one some 29 weeks ago, and raises its cumulative sales to 3,418,131.
It thus surpasses Back To Black (3,387,929) to become the biggest selling album of the 21st century and the 11th biggest selling album of all-time.
Adele has achieved the feat in less than 12 months: 21 was released on January 24 in the UK.
