My bets are going to be J-Hud, Britney, OAR, Lifehouse, Alter Bridge, Saving Abel, FOB, one of Bey's videos, and Missy.

Irena Hart *who is on my Myspace friends* told me that she's pitching her video to get on the VH1 playlist sometime in January.

Jennifer Hudson - Spotlight
O.A.R. - Shattered

it's a shame if that happens this song deserved to be on so much more than others!

I hope that Daughtry and American Idol stay out of the #1 spot, or at least don't ***** it up all the time.

I agree. I don't mind them being #1 but it does eventually get annoying seeing them at #1 every week. Their fans are voting maniacs, you should see how obsessed they are at the VH1 Message Boards with keeping them at #1 and that is the reason why the idols end up at #1 almost every week.

Hopefully though more artists like Lifehouse, Nickelback, Natasha Bedingfield, Leona Lewis, and OneRepublic will have better runs at #1 in 2009.

Well on a lighter note, American Idol artists dominated the #1 spot for only 26 weeks in 2008. Last year it was 30+ weeks at #1 from American Idol artists.

I was thinking the same thing 2 days ago. I was going to mention it tomorrow 24 hours before the 1st Top 20 show of 2009. I think it's a good idea to have 3 recappers. Plus I always wantede to be able to post the VH1 Top 20 every now and then. Last time I posted it was when I filled in for Brandon once before JGibson took over.

Great idea, but I am posting it every week on the the VH1 Top 20 message boards, like last year, at 3AM EST, when it's initial airing occurs. I also tell who got the short treatment and whatnot.

On ATRL, I took over the 1st half of 2008, then flip-flopped every other week between me and Brandon. At some point during last year, I also did voting list/playlist duty when Luis had a bad wrist. I will still be the principal backup to Luis for the voting list/playlist. Of course I'll be posting this network's and VH1 Soul's adds from Videostatic, along with the other networks.

BTW, the VH1 Top 20 recap thread will be kept separate from the main discussion board, like last year.

Wow, that's kind of a first. No removals from the voting list, I'm shocked. I figured the PCD would be added today since they weren't added last week.

I have to say, next week will be interesting being that today was Allison Beckers last day as host. I wonder who will be the new host of the VH1 Top 20 starting next week. It would be something if it was Aameer Haleem but I doubt he is coming back, it will probably be someone new.
