So, we held a formal debate in class today over the age old Religion vs. Science case (Evolution or Creation). I came home FUMING after I was put up against this dumb bitch who could only make irrelevant points. Obviously I went in on this girl (I'm for Science) but it got me thinking. I thought I'd post it on here, what do you think ATRL?
Did a higher existence create us through faith, or was it down to evolution and science? (Or both!)

Evolution. Creationists don't have any arguments besides "having faith" and bashing some questionable aspects of evolution. But the burden of proof is on them
Personally I believe in Creation and science is just the framework of it, but I mean, honestly it really doesn't matter. At the end of the day, everyone is going to believe what they believe. But the an old saying says "Everyone is a Christian once they're in a hole that's caving in."
God placed both his epic hands together and prayed me into existence. Supposedly he loves all his children the same, but i'm sure his starving children in Continental Africa would disagree.
The views depend on how a human was raised. For me, I was raised in a culture with strong faith in a higher existence, in other words, God. For me, what developed life is a higher life form and science. I think we were created through a higher life form then science came along. It's really confusing for me since I'm still 14 and I'm still learning life. I mean, who would create science? It wouldn't create itself, probably.
The bible is only a reference, and it would be blind to take it as scientific fact, when it's not God's word, it's only man's interpretation of God's word.
I believe in God and that a higher existence created us but I'm not too fond of religions.
