I'm surprised this hasn't been posted, yet.
"Nymphomanic" kicks off it's shocking
campaign with the very controversial "orgasm posters."
Quote:
Lars von Trier's films have always been controversial, and "Nymphomaniac" looks to be no exception if these posters are anything to go by
When Hollywood's A-listers were asked about their rumoured participation in the upcoming "Fifty Shades of Grey" film, they were quick to deny any connection to the raunchy adaptation of the EL James novel.
But when it came to a more arthouse-oriented movie about a sex-obsessed woman found beaten up in an alley, it seems they couldn't wait to sign up.
A new poster campaign for "Nymphomaniac," directed by Lars von Trier and due for release in his native Denmark during the festive season, shows its talented cast pretending to reach sexual climax.
LaBeouf sent von Trier a sex tape to secure his role in the production, telling American chat show host Chelsea Handler: "I sent him videotapes of me and my girlfriend having sex and that's how I got the job."
Should the film garner good reviews, it could mark von Trier's re-entry into the film fraternity. He was banned from the Cannes Film Festival in 2011 when, during a press conference for his film Melancholia, he expressed sympathy for Adolf Hitler.
