This will probably cause controvery and let me state for the record that i've always been a fan and will always be a fan. But I think in recent years with the amount of youngin's discovering her, Madonna has been greatly overrated in certain terms. Shes just so new to some people and therefore they kind of over-romanticize her and its allowed because shes been around for so long. Its like people think that makes the delusion justified or something, when delusion is still delusion. So i'd probably have to go with Ray of Light. Although I think the most overrated Madonna album is definitely Like a Prayer lol

But 4 is also greatly overrated. and 21 obviously.

4 is underrated tbh.

None of them are massively overrated to me because they're all good enough quality that they deserve the massive praise they get.

By numbers it wasn't a smash hit but its critically acclaimed and a lot of pop stans especially on here act like its her masterpiece record.

Its definitely the most mature of all her albums I guess but at the same time I find it sort of dragging. And Run the World was really awful. End of Time and I Care are great though.
