HollywoodNews.com: What do you give the pop music diva who has everything? A film career.
Lady GaGa is apparently in talks with Bryan Singer to make a movie that will be a cross between
Michael Jackson’s “Moonwalker” and the
Beyonce-Broadway adaptation “Dreamgirls.”
Apparently, Gaga caught the bug after making the cinematic music video for her single “Telephone” which paid serious homage to Quentin Tarantino and ‘70s “Switchblade Sisters” fare.
Digital Spy was tracking the story.
A source exclaims: ” She’s very excited about a movie, but she wants to do it right. She wants to work with the best people in the business.”
Another friend added: “Lady GaGa is a workaholic who loves pushing the boundaries. Straight music is never going to be enough for her. If she isn’t breaking new ground and doing new things she doesn’t really feel that she is truly alive.
The source continued: “GaGa wants to emulate what Michael Jackson did during the ’80s. You can already see that with her music videos. Every one of them is a mini event.”
