AnniversaRIH: 5 Years In The Industry
Exactly 5 years ago only July 30, 2005, Def Jam recording artist Rihanna's first single "Pon De Replay" peaks at number 2 on the Hot 100, only held off by Mariah Carey's "We Belong Together" for 5 weeks. This day, this particular moment, served as a trigger to a succession of an unforgivable reign through the years.....
5 YEARS LATER: No one could have even predicted the unlimited extent of domination that has emanated to this day. There is no denying that Rihanna is one of the most successful female recording artists of our generation.
HISTORIC ACHIEVEMENTS AND NOTABLE MOMENTS:
n late 2005, Rihanna made her debut award show performance at the World Music Awards;
Rihanna's debut album, "Music of the Sun", peaked in the top ten of the Billboard 200 chart;
