Outrage in Saudi Arabia after female TV presenter becomes the first woman ever to read the news in the country without a veil

Significant: Saudi news sites suggested it was the first time a presenter has read a bulletin without wearing a veil or headscarf on a state-owned news channel. The newsreader was broadcasting in Arabic from London

Those who hoped the incident was a step forward for women's rights in the conservative country would have been left disappointed, as the channel released a statement saying the incident would not happen again

Ironic considering mostly everyone here watches the big news outlets for news and not that local channel;
and all of them have veil-less news casters but I guess whoever is outraged by this is biased.
Unless they only watch that channel, and nothing else, for the sole purpose being that all the females are veiled.

It's not a shame and shouldn't be viewed as one, the one is beautiful regardless of what she chooses to wear and whether it covers or not.

Secondly isn't the outrage over her not wearing a hijab as opposed to the niqab? (If you're not Saudi don't answer this)
