Coming Soon!
EDIT: Let's make this a Top 50...!
50. Fall Out Boy "Sugar, We're Goin' Down"
My thoughts: One of the most catchiest songs of the year. I told myself I would not like this song but I lost out and I did!
49. Eminem "Like Toy Soldiers"
My thoughts: This is probably one of the best songs from Eminem since 2003, definitely better than his other **** (Ass Like That and Mockingbird). This song for some reason reminds me of the past.
48. Papa Roach "Scars"
My thoughts: This song was good considering I hadn't heard from them for about five years.
47. Missy Elliott f/ Ciara & Fat Man Scoop "Lose Control"
My thoughts: Definitely a huge party/dance song. Hey, it even grabbed a few VMA's.
46. Destiny's Child "Girl"
My thoughts: Probably the worst single off of Destiny Fulfilled but still good enough to make the Top 50.
45. Jessica Simpson "These Boots Are Made For Walkin'"
My thoughts: HOT, that's all.
44. Shakira f/ Alejandro Sanz "La Tortura"
My thoughts: The best and most damn catchiest Spanish song ever! Never would I have thought that a Spanish song would make one of my Top 50 lists.
43. Sean Paul "We Be Burnin'"
My thoughts: Probably the best single I've heard from him. He has a very unique and distinctive sound and style, and that would be not understanding one word he's saying.
42. Black Eyed Peas "Don't Phunk With My Heart"
My thoughts: They really reinvented themselves with Monkey Business and this single was absolutely amazing!
41. Britney Spears "Someday (I Will Understand)"
My thoughts: Britney sings to her baby, how nice...too bad it wasn't the greatest song in the world but still Top 50 worthy.

Now, 31-40...
Recap:
50. Fall Out Boy "Sugar, We're Goin' Down"
49. Eminem "Like Toy Soldiers"
48. Papa Roach "Scars"
47. Missy Elliott f/ Ciara & Fat Man Scoop "Lose Control"
46. Destiny's Child "Girl"
45. Jessica Simpson "These Boots Are Made For Walkin'"
44. Shakira f/ Alejandro Sanz "La Tortura"
43. Sean Paul "We Be Burnin'"
42. Black Eyed Peas "Don't Phunk With My Heart"
41. Britney Spears "Someday (I Will Understand)"
40. Backstreet Boys "Just Want You To Know"
My thoughts: This one was WEAK compared to "Incomplete," they could have picked a much better single.
39. Chris Brown f/ Juelz Santana "Run It"
My thoughts: I saw him on MTV's You Hear It First and I thought he was going to be a nobody. I never would have imagined he would score a #1 single...this song is a huge party song and I <3 it!
38. Carrie Underwood "Inside Your Heaven"
My thoughts: The American Idol for '05...much better than last year's Idol. This single was good but I can only like the AI Winner's first single for so long before I start to hate it.
37. Frankie J "How To Deal"
My thoughts: I don't think he gets enough credit. He has an good voice and this song, I think, is unbelievable.
36. Lindsay Lohan "First"
My thoughts: Even though I still like it, it is the weakest single off of "Speak." This video was half-ass, too.
35. Fall Out Boy "Dance, Dance"
My thoughts: I used to really like this song, but now I don't really care for it. Their song titles are so funny and different.
34. Keyshia Cole "I Should Have Cheated"
My thoughts: When I saw this video, I said who is this hot mess with the red hair. Honestly, this song is a guilty pleasure, and I have to admit I like it!
33. Shakira "Don't Bother"
My thoughts: When I read the lyrics to this song, I thought this song was going to be horrible...but it is unique and she looks amazing in the video.
32. Britney Spears "Do Somethin'"
My thoughts: This song is so cheesy but I still like it just a little bit.
31. Jennifer Lopez f/ Fat Joe "Hold You Down"
My thoughts: Everyone thinks this song is horrid. Awful. Pitiful. I don't think it's THAT bad. Not my favorite J.Lo song but I still like it.

Now, for songs 10-7...
#10 Gwen Stefani "Hollaback Girl"
This sh!t is BANANAS, B-A-N-A-N-A-S! Wow, what an amazing song (and year) for Gwen. If you think about it, the lyrics to this song sound really corny, but don't let them fool you...this song is off the ****ing chains!
#9 Simple Plan "Untitled"
This is Simple Plan's best single off of "Still Not Getting Any." Pierre sings his heart out in this song and it is just amazing. Can't wait for their next album!
#8 Ashlee Simpson "Boyfriend"
I'm probably going to get a lot of crap for having this one this high, but this song is like a guilty pleasure for me. Sure, she may not be able to song, but I really like this song. And who doesn't love to watch Ashlee's media troubles. She is awesome!
#7 Backstreet Boys "Incomplete"
I hated the Backstreet Boys until this song. Any song they ever released before this made me want to gouge my eyes out (okay, maybe not THAT serious). This song introduced a new, mature sound for the Boys, and I'm not afraid to admit that I like this song...a lot.

Ok, now for my Top 3 of 2005, the songs that made 2005 awesome!
#3 Green Day "Boulevard of Broken Dreams"
Ahhh, how I love Green Day. This is one of the best songs of 2005 (as you can see). Did very well at both pop and rock radio. Won 7/8 VMA's including Video of the Year. The best single (thus far) off of "American Idiot." This song will forever be one of my favorites. Way to go, Green Day!
#2 Mariah Carey "We Belong Together"
Freakin' Mariah Carey. Oh, how I love her...and this song. This is one of the best songs of 2005 and of her career. It spent 14 weeks at #1 on the Hot 100. 14 WEEKS! That is insane. She may have lost her touch on this song (and in general) live, but at least the recording is astounding . Didn't win any VMA's, but the biggest single of the year (off the biggest album of the year ), and for sure to win some Grammy's. Way to go, Mimi!
#1 Kelly Clarkson "Behind These Hazel Eyes"
My favorite song of 2005, and one of my favorites ever. Kelly Clarkson is amazing. I don't care if she had to win American Idol to get this big, she is still amazing. This song kicked a$$ on my countdown. It was #1 43/50 days possible and blocked others to the likes of Simple Plan, Mariah Carey, and the Backstreet Boys from getting to #1 or gaining more #1's. Now on TRL, it dominated the competition as well. It was #1 33/50 times, the most for any female and the new retirement rule. One of the biggest songs in TRL history. It was even in the top 10 in the Year-End Billboard Hot 100 chart (at #10). It is just too hard to put into words how I love this song!
