Obviously it's frowned upon for a white person to use the 'n-word', but when it's a black person referring to another black person with the 'n-word', people seem to let it slide.

In all honesty, and as a black person myself, no, no one should use the word because it's roots are evil.

BUT, I suppose there is little to nothing we can do now, it has become so affluent. I don't personally use it, but I feel being black people were the ones mistreated then they should be able to do as they please with the word? I guess that is how most feel.
