It's an amazing song, but I'm not sure if US radio will play it.

But Worldwide it could do great like Hurt did in the Back To Basics era

Kelly Clarkson's "Already Gone" is a ballad and U.S. radio just loved it. It has almost 3 billion of cumulative audience impressions. This is a good choice.

Already Gone is a midtempo though, I don't consider it a ballad. It has a steady beat behind when she sings.

YLM is a straight-up ballad, there is hardly any beat, it is just her singing. I'm not trying to argue, but I don't think the US will be that accepting of it on radio.

It's an excellent song though

They are two completely different songs. As said, "AG" has a beat and is catchy/rhythmic, "YLM" is just piano and vocals.
