10: Recovery
- Eminem's album Recovery made not be the best and you may be skipping some tracks on the album but overall a very good album. Its first two singles Love The Way You Lie and Not Afraid were definite smashes that almost everyone I know loves. A very meaningful deep album for Eminem and many personal meanings may be found for yourself within this album. Definite must buy for 2010 and one of the best albums of the year!
9. My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy
- Kanye's best album to date in my opinion. The single Runaway is what first got me interested and not POWER. Runaway was a very powerful track from Kanye and marked his come back. Second of all his other single Monster featuring many was a major hit to me. Its verses and length makes this a must buy single. This album has scored multiple perfect scores from critics and makes up for his recent faults in the media light.
8. Bionic
- Now I know most are going to think what is this doing on here, but honestly this album is a masterpiece regardless of its huge criticism it takes. The album is beautifully written and put together including old Xtina and some new Xtina as well. This is especially well done including what Xtina was going through at the time so even when she is down she still does amazing. Though not Xtina's strongest album to date it is a great album and a must listen to for everyone.
7. Pink Friday
- Nicki Minaj's first solo album released and may I say she did a very good job. You get a mix of mainstream rap and a very meaningful and powerful album. It does however seem to be absent of what people label as the "Old Nicki" and I agree that there should have been some more hardcore rap songs by Nicki. But overall this album is amazing and a must for people who enjoy more mainstream rap and popesque type of music. Things are only looking up for the new rap queen.
6. Cannibal
- Other than We R Who We R this album has yet to chart well with its singles but in my opinion it is a great addition to Ke$ha's album work. I do not have to skip a track at all and it has the best party songs I know. There is still a meaningful song fit in in the Harold Song which I love because it has a personal meaning to me and overall a great album in which I actually don't have to skip a track for once.
5. Loud
- Though it is not as amazing as I expected this album to be it is still great. Its first single Only Girl smashed the charts and is still doing well. For a second single Whats My Name is a great track but there are far better choices on the album such as Cheers, or S&M. My favorite track though off this masterpiece is California King Bed. It is very deep and meaningful and a perfect love song. This album also continues with Love The Way You Lie pt. 2 which is a great continuation of the first part most featuring Rihanna and a great Eminem verse that gave me the chills the first time I listened. Overall this is a great album that can't be missed and theres only about 1 or 2 songs that are only ok off the album and that is Skin and Fading. Though this did not live up to her promise of it being as huge as thriller and not having to skip a track regardless it is a great album.
4. The Fame Monster
- Simple definition for this album is just pretty much perfect. The only reason I ever skip a track is because I can't wait for the next song to come on. Lady Gaga is the most unique artist in this century. The only track I could pass on is Teeth. All of the songs have single potential to be huge. The First single Bad Romance is a huge hit and is known basically universally and just about everyone has heard it or knows it. Probably one of the most powerful songs of 2010 and the century thus far. Lady Gaga never fails to bring greatness. If you for some strange reason have not heard this album yet I recommend listening to it a lot. You will NOT be disappointed.
3. Can't Take That Away From Me
- This album for me is basically perfect. It was never mass produced and only available for download as promotion for Jojo's album coming in 2011. Track by track... Can't Take That Away is its first amazing song to start the album. Its a powerful meaningful song to me and I love it. Running On Empty another powerful song to keep the flow going is just amazing as well. Accents Jojo's strong vocals. Continuing is Pretty Please a good song showing her strong vocals again and is a really good song to me. Why Didn't you call another strong song about somebody who wants you but they **** around and ignore you sometimes and come back later and it sort of pisses you off. Easily Relateable to most at some point in their life. Just A Dream the next track slows things down on the album and brings a nice relaxing tone to the album. Next track can easily be a single, When Does It Go Away. Featuring Travis Garland who has a perfect voice to accent Jojo's. A sad song though about a somebody who wants someone else but they wont have them and so they are in pain and wondering when will the pain go away. My Time is Money the next track is an inspiring track to me meaning you are a busy person and no one needs to be in your way because you are a leader and you get everything done and you need no one to tell you how to live your life. Skip What you like the next song because its horrible. The Real first single In The Dark is a powerful sensual song with a sad undertone about only having a sexual relation with someone and no other attachments. Relateable to a teens- 20's age group such as I. We all do bad things and you know its bad but you don't want to stop. A very good song. Boy Without a Heart is a strong track but nothing I like very much but most seem to find a great song. And Finally All I Want Is Everything the last track is my second favorite track off the album. Song about your dreams and getting everything you want and doing amazing things. An inspiring song that makes me feel great. And Overall almost my favorite album(mixtape) of 2010.
2. Speak Now
- Regardless of a few tracks its basically a young teen - adult life span. It explains many things that we all go through such as on Never Grow Up I am experiencing currently almost. The album is the most relateable to me from all year. Very mature album to Taylor and has confirmed me as a Taylor Swift fan. Many of its other strong tracks include, Mine, Haunted, Innocent, Speak Now, Sparks Fly, Back To December, Enchanted, and Better Than Revenge. A few tracks to skip are Dear John and Mean. Overall this album is a teens life and I honestly was suprised at how good it was comparing to what I predicted about it.
1. Teenage Dream
- Finally my absolute favorite album of 2010. Starting with its perfect summer single California Gurls. The perfect summer song of 2010 that has broken many records and though it is winter here I am still jamming to it. Teenage Dream the second single from the album is my favorite song of 2010. It is my most meaningful song and I fell in love with it instantly since when I first heard it. Firework the third single is probably my other favorite song of 2010 because of its inspiring meaning. This album has about 5-8 single potential songs. Great tracks also include Last Friday Night, Peacock, E.T. , Hummingbird Heartbeat, Who Am I Living for, and the rest are still very strong songs and a great masterpiece by Katy.
