Best Artists:
10. Evanescence
The only rock group on my c/d but the on deck are is filled with them. This year (2006) they released two smashing hits: Call Me When You're Sober and Lithium. The first hit did well everywhere, including TRL, we will see how Lithium does. They also had a successful album this year, opening at number 1.
9. Ciara
Released two songs this year, and a number one album. Get Up and Promise are awesome songs! Get Up peaked number 8 in the summer and Promise is doing well, peaking number 14 and it was released a few weeks ago. Promise will defiantely do well in 2007, and Ciara is an artist on the watch.

8. Sean Paul
He had 3 hits from his latest album, The Trinity- We be Burnin', Temperature and When You Gonna (Give Up To Me). All his singles landed in the top six and he was very successful with Temperture, peaking at one. My favorite hit by him this year, was When You Gonna(Give it Up To Me), a smashing summer jam from, STEP UP.
7. Diddy
He released a rock album this year, whis debeted at 1. Released 2 singles: Come To Me-ft. Nicole from PCD and Tell Me ft. Christina Aguilera. Come to Me peaked at nine and Tell Me will probably do well also.

5. Christina Aguilera
She released only two songs so far: Ain't No Other Man and Hurt, which were both wonderful, and her album peaked at number one and sold almost two million in america alone. Her upcoming songs will do well also, such as, Candyman and Still Dirty.

4. Nelly Furtado
She made a major come back this year with, LOOSE, which debuted at number 1. She had meg hits this year: Promiscuous, Maneater, Say it Right; elsewhere in the world: No Hay Igual, Te Busque and All Good Things (Come To An End). It was really had to place her in the top 10, but she fell a few points behind number three, who is A Million Miles Away from number two :hint:

3. Rihanna
With A Girl Like Me, Rihanna, was a major success this year. She had two top ten singles this year, one that was awsome but apparantely not Billboard 100 material and her latest one featuring Sean Paul. Yes, i'm talking about-S.O.S, Unfaithful, We Ride, and Break it off. She is an artist that is slowl growing on america.

2. The Pussycat Dolls
Not far from number one, but good enough for number 2. My favourite group this year. Had an album that lingered around the top 50 on the ablums chart throughout the course of the year; and had a major succes with-Buttons, Stickwitu, Beep and Wait a Minute(which is growing on america).

Her song, UNWRITTEN, was 10x better than this dipshit.
