When 2013 had finished, I was a little bit dissatisfied with the songs back then, even with all the pop stars releasing in Q3-Q4 of the year. This year was more fresh to me, I have met new, innovative sounds, I became to know amazing new artists and to enlarge my musical taste. I am pretty proud of how good the singers did this year.
In this 2nd annual chart, I will present you some of my favourite moments over these past 12 months. It was an amazing year for me, musically, one I have definitely enjoyed and hopefully, I'll keep on listening to many of these songs/albums/artists from now on.

I think I have put this song too low. Anyway, Fergie didn't really impress me with this "comeback", but I liked her AMAs performance and I have started to like the song. It is really a nice bop and good for trips

The Veronicas - "You Ruin Me"
I have known about The Veronicas just by their old hit "Untouched" or by their newer "Lolita". I was surprised when I saw them on the 8th position of the UK charts and I knew I had to check it. I wasn't disappointed, it's an amazing ballad for sure.

Tinashe - "Pretend" (feat. A$AP Rocky)
Tinashe is for sure one of the best artists that broke through this year. Her album, "Aquarius" has delivered some amazing tracks, like this one. I like the instrumentation of this song. It's so soft and calm, yet Tinashe's voice doesn't make it feel like boring and gives this song a lot of life. It's not better than her debut single, "2 On", but it's an amazing addition to her discography.

Yelle - "Completement Fou"
In search of new songs, I have discovered this electropop masterpiece. When I firstly listened to this song, I didn't like it, I thought it was a bit annoying and it had no musicality, but it has grown on me and I couldn't keep it out of my head.

Azealia Banks - "Chasing Time"
After 100 years of struggling to release an album, this year it was finally out. It has included a few good songs and "Chasing Time" is one of them. It has an interesting, dancefloor-style rhythm that would make you tap your feet anytime. Azealia's flow of course adds to this characteristic sound of hers and that's why I consider Azealia so original. She has made a sound of herself, which is amazing.
