Watching the new Zara Larsson (Up and coming superstar) interview had me thinking about stuff.

She said this super interesting quote

Gaga has all of those and MORE but it seems like yall are still not satisfied

Grammys - Check x6
Record breaking tours - Check, check, check
Super Bowl - Check

I honestly think Gaga has nothing left to prove.
Right now she's doing what she likes and not giving a sh*t about everything else.
I'm so proud of her
She achieved so much in such a short amount of time

She's right. Gaga does not have anything left to prove. However, I will say that the production on Joanne from the two songs we have heard needed some much needed refinement. Perfect Illusion is a bit muddy and MR needed a more grandiose buildup during the bridge perhaps more strings, just my opinion.

Longevity with critical acclaim (charting is a plus, but not necessary) and nothing else. Maybe another accolade in acting if she really wants that.

I think she has more to prove. To me her career feels like it went by quickly. She achieved a lot in a short time and that's amazing but idk, it's like she came, made impact and left. It's not long lasting. no Longevity.

✓ crossed over successfully to Jazz with acclaim AND numbers to back her up
✓ started a semi-successful acting career
✓ won a Golden globe
✓ made waves/trends with acclaimed performances (Oscars twice in a row, SB National Anthem)
✓ still gets her detractors pressed 5 years after

she is slated to perform at the US' biggest stage in 2017, 6 years after she was "over"

truly the queen of being over since 2011, queen of post-being over and meta-being over
