Greatest Pokemon Master: Season 2 (Pokemart Opens!)
Currently On Bid : Growlithe
Welcome fellow ATRL Memembers and Pokemon stans to the ever so messy season 2 of "Greatest Pokemon Master". The game started off last year by a member by the name of BlazingLovatic and 1/3 way through the game I was given the honor of being the new Host. It's been more then a year since the game's original creation and I've decided it's time to bring it back, bigger and better then ever! For those interested for a great KI here's Season 1 http://atrl.net/forums/showthread.php?t=255614
The Instructions
Bidding Sessions
1.The Game will start off through a "Bidding Session". Basically Me and My Co-Host will be putting up Pokemon for bid each day for a certain amount of time and every player will have the chance to bid for that pokemon to be theirs, whoever bids the highest at the end of the bidding wins that Pokemon on their team!
2. Every Trainer starts off with 200 Pokedollars to bid with or save up for later use in the game
3. A Max of 26 Trainers wlll be allowed to sign up!
4. You may request pokemon of your liking to be put up for bid but you CANNOT request any type of pokemon that is an evolution only it's starter form, Legendary Pokemon will most likely never be put for bid only once in a blue moon
5. Each day we will put up for bid pokemon from certain generation EX: Mondays would be 1st Gen, Tuesday 2nd Gens, Wednesday 3rd Gen etc...
6. The Actual Game will begin once every signed and active trainer has at least 1 Pokemon on their team
----- Battle System / Evolving
This season of Greatest Pokemon Master has a revamped and newly designed battling system to add to the experience
- Battles will all take place using http://pokemonshowdown.com/ I trust each and every player will be play fair and true and be able to report to me who wins/loses a battle and keeps track of their Pokemons
- To have a Pokemon level up it will need to have beaten an opponents Pokemon or PokemonS in order to gain EXP, below I will post the EXP chart so you all have in mind how much battling will need to be taken place to strengthen your team
- You are limited to 15 Battles per day!
-Winning A Battle still earns you a "spin" to get a random amount of Pokedollars, depending on your teams levels the prizes will either be raised or lowered
-Losing A Battle still results in loss of Pokedollars but not a dramatic amount
-You still have the option to not evolve your Pokemon and keep fighting with them as they are
-Only Pokemon in your main team in the OP maybe used in battle so make sure you tell me if you want any changes to your teams
-You will need to spend $$$ in order to gain attacks for your pokemon. How that will work is that the starting price for one attack will be 20Pokedollars but for your next attack it'll be 40 and the next 80 and lastly the last attack will be worth 100$.
Disco sis, will we be doing battles for money via Pokemon Online or Pokemon Showdown?
Will there be those bonus rounds to win Pokedollars, stones, etc?
If so, sign me up.
