It kind of does, yeah, because I believe it's a result of our biphobic cultural mindset. People are afraid of the bisexual label because they're afraid that no one will take them seriously. Girls who claim bisexuality are labelled as straight girls who like attention, guys who claim bisexuality are labelled as gay men who can't come to terms with the fact that they don't like girls.
It bothers me when some girl tells me she's a "lesbian" and then ****s some dude a week later, I've had it happen multiple times. It also bothers me when the guys I get sexually involved with tell me they're "straight" when they very clearly are not

It just makes me sad, I wish people were more accepting of bisexuality as a valid identity.
