because it's basic stan knowledge that if you have your name on the writing credits of a song you most likely receive some money for it when it's purchased...  Even Charli herself said that "I Love It" has been paying her bills.

it will probably cross the 3M mark by next week.  I would estimate it's about 4x platinum including streams as well!

Fancy sold 2.72 million as of last week and will have sold about 170k more by this Wednesday so I estimated it at 2.9M US. I estimated it at 160,000 (eligible for 2x platinum) in Canada because our charts generally mirror the US and it's currently uncertified by the CRIA. Everything else was from wiki.

According to Kworb Fancy sold an estimated 168k this week bringing it to 2,892,000, rounding off at about 2.9 million. REALLY struggling to understand what's so hard to grasp here.
