Hmm I read it. I can't see how it could extend long enough to be a series...I guess they would add lots of backstory/worldbuilding?

Hopefully it'll get a better ending than the awful (but iconic) ending of the film.
I can't imagine this working unless they expand upon the original story... otherwise it'll be like TWD: Supermarket

The short story's ending leaves this open to a lot of possibilities, but I feel it would be too much like TWD with monsters.
