Pretty simple - I'll list all the Billboard Hot 100 #1s for a given year (starting with 2014 and going backwards), and you pick which one you think is the most memorable. About once a day (or earlier if there's enough replies), I'll tally up all the responses, record which song won in the OP, and then move on to the next year.

NOTE: If a song was #1 during two calendar years (for example, the end of 2013 into the beginning of 2014), it will be included in the year where it spent more weeks at #1. If it spent an equal number of weeks at #1 in both years, it will be included in the year when it FIRST went #1.
