I'm not trying to create a chaos with this discussion. I just want to know the answer. It's been really boggling me for the longest time. Why is it that everytime the Army always point out specific details, such as her major accomplishments, all the other fanbases are quick to flame them saying that they are too miserable trying to hold on to her past, and that we should just let it go - that they try to deny that Britney is "flopping" in Vegas so they create the illusion that she's still slaying today by bringing out facts from the past. They are quick to say "the Army has nothing left so they cling on to the past". But isn't that what everyone else is doing? I don't understand the double standards nowadays.

Lady Gaga fans:

"Lady Gaga ruled the world in 2009. She was everywhere, made so much impact, slayed your faves, and in only 3 short years, surpassed everything your fave did and much more. Beyonce fans:

Well, for the most part Rihanna has been quite respectful of Britney and her fans, so I can't really point out specifics where they brought up the "past is past" argument. I maybe biased because I'm part of the Navy too, but hopefully someone clears this up.

Christina fans:

Mariah, Madonna, Avril and Christina fans get the exact same treatment Britney fans get, so I'm not sure why you listed them in your post. Hell, even Gaga fans are starting to be dragged for using 2010 accomplishments as current receipts. If all you have is things that happened years ago your arguments are bound to be dismissed as irrelevant to the current musical landscape.
