So, Round 2 Of RatedG² game Insidious has never seen the light of day, so i decided to run the game, but with a small change. The game is now called
A Nightmare on ATRL.
So for all of you old timers who have played the last game, you know how it works. But for all of you new members, Below you will find the rules on how to play this game.
Game Information
You and a large group of ATRLers have taken a break from the horrors of ATRL and decided to take a hike in the woods. You guys are having the time of your lives, until something bad happens. Everyday, you realize that one less of you show up at the campfire at night. You accuse someone of murdering your friends, but the suspicion is on everyone. What do you do? Will you make an alliance to get rid of the murderer or do you sit back and fend for yourself?
Rules
The game is about survival. There are essentially two main group of ATRLers, a group of "campers" who are innocent, but are on the lookout to get rid of the murderers. The second group is called the "slasher" group because they are the ones disguised as campers who are murdering the campers. The main rule of the game is simple. I will decide who will be campers and who will be slashers. If you are a camper, your goal is to convene with your fellow campers at night to vote off one person from your trip. The person you vote off is the same person you accuse of being the murderer. I will reveal the next day if the person the campers voted off is actually one of the murderers or not. As for the slashers...your main goal is to kill off all of the campers before the campers vote you off. Simple right? WRONG. For this game to work, you have to form alliances with people who may, or may not be out to kill you in the end. And the slashers have to try EXTREMELY hard to keep their identity secret because if not, then the campers will be SURE to vote you off next.
Special Campers
3 special campers are going to be campers with special powers, something the rest of the campers will NOT have. The three campers are as follows
- The Psychic: The Psychic is a special camper who has the ability to figure out another camper's indentity. Again, the identities are slasher, camper, and then if you're one of the special campers either a cop or the tabloid reporter. Every night, when we convene, you have the choice to PM me that you want to reveal another member's identity. In the beginning of the game, we assume everybody is a camper, since we don't know who the slashers are because their identities are kept secret. This is why the psychic is important. Of course you won't go and say "so and so is a slasher" because if you do, the slashers will most certainly kill you the next night. Be careful what you say
- The Cop: The Cop is a special camper who has the ability to save one person he or she wants to. So every night, the cop comes to me and sends me the name of the person he wants to save. When the slashers agree on one person to kill at night, and if that person happens to be the person a cop saved, that person will not die because the cop will have saved him or her. Remember to not give away your position cop, because you will give the advantage way into the Slashers favor if you are to leave. That means the Slashers can kill without any interference.
- The Tabloid Reporter: The Tabloid Reporter has the ability to read the slashers conversation. Going back to the slashers, they all have to PM each other about who to kill because then, they send their transcripts and the tabloid reporter has the ability to read it. In the transcript WILL be the name of the next victim. So it would be wise for the tabloid reporter and cop to work together to stop the slashers. But be careful tabloid reporter in telling people who the slasher is. You just might tell a slasher, and you're gonna be gone next
