I mean, the situation before y'all ask -- it's not like you met him yesterday, but it's also not like y'all have dated for YEARS. Y'all have been dating for a bit, and he hit you.

Also the hit wasn't some minor slap, but it wasn't something that sends you to the hospital. Like a medium-hard punch.

But no, the minute someone tries to hit you or actually does it, it's over. There's no excuse for violence in a relationship, at all.
