Now as we all know both Katy and Gaga debuted around the same time. Katys I kissed a girl was one of the most successful songs of the year and she followed it up with Hot n Cold and everything seemed to be going her way until ofcourse Gaga premiered poker face and her bandwagon exploded. She became the it girl and the rest of the "one of they boys" era seemed to have been a decline despite Waking up in Vegas being as catchy and fun as Hot n Cold and the album having alot more potential hits. If it wasn't for that Katy could have gone on to having a TFM sized smash era herself. Fast forward to 2013/14 and it seems the roles have switched and Katy is at the top of her game as well as the charts. Is Prism revenge for 2008 snubs? Is this all Justice4OOTB? Discuss.

Yes, pretty much. On August 12th everyone was like "Katy you better pray for your wig, Applause will put you in shadow". No one can deny this, most people (including me ) thought she was gonna flop... but we heard ha roar. Prism IS Katy's revenge and it's one of the best revenges in recent music history.
