Arguably two of the BIGGEST Disney princesses ever, that made everyone fall in love with them back when they were huge. Years have passed and as of now their careers are not in the best shape possible but they still hold some relevancy.

people from different generations are compared all the time! I don't know, I think in some cases like album sales (I mean comparing the digital age to 20-30 years ago or something) it's unfair but this thread is harmless.

They're both releasing new music in 2013 , Selena didn't release anything in 2012 because she filmed 4-5 movies and her last movie Hotel Transylvania grossed over 300 million worldwide without being released everywhere yet...you tried though
Anyways, they will be remembered as good Disney girls who never tainted the Disney image.
