MIA has claimed that the singer's statement is nothing new and has questioned when people are going to start speaking out about Syrian, Muslim and Pakistani lives.
"It's interesting that in America the problem you're allowed to talk about is Black Lives Matter," she told ES Magazine.
"It's not a new thing to me - it's what Lauryn Hill was saying in the 1990s, or Public Enemy in the 1980s. Is Beyoncé or Kendrick Lamar going to say Muslim Lives Matter? Or Syrian Lives Matter? Or this kid in Pakistan matters? That's a more interesting question.

Honestly Beyonce doesn't deserve this hate. I can see why she brought Iggy to the Mrs.Carter Tour and Chimes For Change events. They can relate to each other in many ways honestly. I'm so sad that Beyonce is suffering from all this hate.
