critical acclaim. People like LMFAO can get massive sales, but are still seen as the laughing stock of the industry and will not be remembered in 10 years time
huge sales,when millions of people buy your albums and songs and you're appreciated by fans around the world then your material must be worthy in some way or another and sometimes critics take things personally
pretty much....I never understood why people care about what critics think, I mean can't you judge the music for yourself
Exactly. The most important thing is whether I like it (good for me). Then whether the public likes it (good for the artist). And then whether the critics like it (irrelevant).
It would be nice to get bigger sales, though.
