Why are we more excited for a #1 single than a great song?
With the announcement of the Shakira/Rihanna collab, we have seen many posts and even threads about how it could be a #1 this and that.
Why are people not excited for the actual song, and how good it could be? Why are most members more interested in it possibly being the 14th number one hit?

Because people just want Rihanna to succeed so they can rub it other people's faces saying their fav has more success and stuff. To be honest I think the song will be really good and go number one.
These thirsty Beyonce fans are only pressed because the focus isn't on their fave. Let Rihanna, Shakira, and their fans have their moment and go listen to BEYONCE for the 50 millionth time.
